No netherite armor in crafting table

I was looking through the armor in the crafting table and I noticed that there was no netherite armor available to craft. Me and my friend made this (survival) world yesterday and I’m on the latest version of minecraft. I went to a different (creative) world and I saw that the netherite armor was still available. I also have a screenshot from the survival world showing that the netherite is gone.
