World not saving

When I am playing the game and the saving chest gets stuck and when you close out the game it doesn’t save  I can’t even hit save and quit because it gets stuck on saving world I had it on there for a hour and it never clicked off so I had to close out the application and reopen it when I did and I joined that world all of my hard work was gone this issue has the been going on for months I am getting tired of losing all of my hard work 90% of the time it’s very frustrating and annoying please fix this issue
