Update your game to continue playing on realms

I’m trying to play on realms, but whenever i try to play, it says that its “unable to connect”

I looked at my screen and something popped up.

I said “All Realms have been updated. You need to update to continue playing on realms”

I thought that it meant that i had to update Minecraft, so i did that and nothing worked. Then i re downloaded the game and that didnt work either
