Execute fill as player command not repeating in repeating command block.

I used to use the command "execute ozzydog4 ~ ~ ~ /fill ~20 ~20 ~20 air" in a repeating command block to clear out lots of land. After the execute command rework I used "/execute as ozzydog4 run /fill ~ 66 ~ ~20 ~20 ~20 air". The problem I have is that it does not repeat in a repeating command block. I am now unable to clear out large amounts of land.
