Resource Packs Not Saving

Since one of the more recent updates, every time I start the game I have to reapply my resource packs. 

Never had to do that before. Was sent to a "help" chat with a dude and he said the issue was with my PC and that I needed to reinstall Windows to fix it... which is wrong and also a garbage solution. 

So here I am.
