Performance and certain animals not loading

Me and my girlfriend were playing and noticed heavy lag when we got close to a swamp biome and she plays on ps4 and I host the game on my phone. The game lags hard for me offline as well and doesn't work with Bluetooth cuz of the lag. And my girlfriend wasn't able to see a full mob her screen only showed the head of a horse and that's it.
