Invisible trader llamas

Wandering trader spawns with invisible llamas. I can hear them but I don't see them. Sometimes when I shoot an arrow at the trader I hit & kill the llama & get lead & leather. I have also been building close to the trader & accidentally started riding an invisible llama. I have killed traders & still have their llamas somewhere.
