Food looks like it’s eating but doesn’t

Many times when im trying to eat food, it showing the eating animation like im eating it, but it doesn't lower the amount of food I have left and doesn't give me any hunger, and sometimes this can happen multiple times in a row before it lets me actually eat.

Edit: The hunger bar flickers to how much its supposed to for less than a second after eating animation.

Don't know how to reproduce because it happens randomly and it happens to my friend on a iphone 13 pro max with ios 16 too.
