execute command causes crash

Hello, I would like to make a bug report when using the new execute command. However today I have tried to do this following command via execute in an command block.

execute as @p in nether run tp @s ~~~

But this will cause a crash ONLY if it is done not by a player, such as in a command block or via mcfunctions. Game Version: 1.19.41 Device: Windows 11

No addons nor texture packs were used in this world, It was a complete fresh new superflat wold.
