Can't distribute items across other items

Steps to Reproduce:

1. get two stacks of the same type of item
2. tap on one stack than swipe across empty inventory slots to evenly distribute them
3. tap on second stack and try to distribute across the already distributed items

Observed Results:
you can only split items this way if you start on an empty slot

Expected Results:
you should be able to initiate items split on items of the same type

(attachment description: once I make the first set of items into 10s, I try to split the other 10 carrot stack amongst the first 10s to make more stacks of exactly 12 and after a few attempts I combine them in to twenty, than a few more try's and combining starting on empty slots demonstrated)
