Paintings disappear when I move away

As said in the title, paintings dissappear sometimes

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place paintings on blocks
2. Move far away from paintings and/or restart world
3. The paintings disappear

Observed Results:

The paintings get mined by itself

Expected Results:

The paintings should stay placed when I go far away and/or restart the world
