Large shadow appeared with nothing overhead

Recently a shadow has appeared in the corner of the active part of my world, upon investigation with water, it does not seem to be a swamp biome. I have logged out of my microsoft account and logged back in but that has not helped, the same with turning off my console and back on again. Nothing is above.
