Minecraft xbox 1 edition isn't updating world template content

Been trying to play a world template and it isn't updating at all. It says download but once it is clicked it just goes to world template screen where it still says update. Can't play the world template as it need the update to progress to the create world screen. Update doesn't download and can't bypass it to play the world template.
