Xbox keyboard UI glitch

When typing in a text box in Minecraft such as chat or inside a command block using a keyboard, the text no longer transmits directly to the chat or command block until the full message is complete. This is highly problematic, because tab loses its use for commands and beginning to type part of a command doesn’t give completion suggestions.
