Chest and creative inventory not letting you scroll up and down

For some reason when use a chest or go to the creative inventory most of the time it wouldn’t let me scroll on the Pocket Video settings and I basically have to use the classic settings to make it work properly I tried resetting the game but it didn’t do anything can you pls fix it
