Warden Shriek through wall makes all items you had despawn instantly

When I was mining a warden had spawned so I tried to get away from it and I had built a wall between us and when he hit me with his shriek it had killed me and when I went back to the exact place of my death all my items had disappeared and now I lost hrs and hrs of my life because of this it is so infuriating that this bug exist because now I have to go and grind all my resources I had lost back
