Minecraft not playing or responding to my controller

So ever since the new update. One of my accounts can’t play Minecraft. I can load into the menu screen and scroll down to “Play, Settings, Shop” but I can’t press “A” on neither of them. With the same controller but on a separate account I can play it and press “A” but my main account with my servers and skins I can NOT get on. I have heard of others also having this same issue since the new update came out.
