Control Buttons on "Crosshair" touch controls on iPad cannot be moved so they are harder to reach with such a big screen

I am not able to customise the location of the buttons with the "crosshair" touch controls option on the screen on my iPad. Since my iPad has a much larger screen than a phone, I would need to have the buttons closer to be able to use them well without straining my hand too much.
