Players using platform-restricted skins can join Minecraft Live Vote
Players in Minecraft for Nintendo Switch can join 2022 Minecraft Mob Vote even they were using platform-restricted skins but not being able to join their friend's cross-platform world
I have attached the link of a video to show how the flaw works
Steps to reproduce:
1: On the menu, open Dressing Room
2: Click classic Skins, choose one of platform restricted skins, like ones in Super Mario Mash-up pack, which is platform-restricted
3: Go back to the menu
4: click “2022 Mob Vote”
5: click “Play & Vote”
Expected result: it should pop up “Platform Restricted Skin!” warning, like when I attempt to enter my world with multiplayer enabled or my XBOX friend's server with skins from Super Mario Mash-up pack
Actual result: you can join it without any warning despite you’re using a skin that’s not supposed to be cross-platform (i.e. Super Mario Mash-up pack)

Shorter version of the video if you don't mind how I open Minecraft: ns-mc-platform-restricted-skin-joins-MCLive-cut.mov
I exited the world as soon as I join to prevent other players discovering me
Updated to be more grammar consistent and struck-through to raise awareness
Here's another try uncut recorded with my smartphone: ns-mc-platform-restricted-skin-joins-MCLive-with-PC.MOV
I didn’t use screen recorder to capture proof
