Takes up to 2 min for world to draw

Over the last two updates, upon spawning either from launcher or portal, huge portions of the world simply aren't drawn, leaving huge gaps where I can see deep into the stuff underneath, and meanwhile, I often can't move (because the blocks aren't there, presumably). Other players on the Realm we play on report it has had a negative impact, like being stuck with a mob or damaging block.
