Underwater chunks get reset into gravel ones

When i was exploring i sw that a lot of ocean chunks got reset into gravel ones. On those reset chunks there are no plants. This happend on my 3+ year old survival world witch was to be expected. Also the gravel is not blended with surrounding sand witch means those where the reset chunks.
