Falling through ground after using portal to End City

After portaling to The End, went to the portal that takes you to the End Cities. Used ender pearl to portal. Once l loaded in I fell straight through the island under the portal and kept falling to my death. I attempted this again twice more and it did the same thing.
Im playing on Bedrock Realms server. Any advice??
