Accessing certain marketplace items softlocks the game

Any time I use bedrock explorer to try to obtain some marketplace items, such as the RGB Samurai Helmet by Spark Universe, the game softlocks with a blank error screen. If I try to go through the other menus, the soft-locked screen can't be bypassed unless I restart the game.
