Mobile stack splitting bar flickers when it changes progress

The improved stack splitting features a visual indicator of the amount of items being moved through the form of a bar that changes its progress based on the item ratio.

However, instead of just increasing its length like other progress bars, it seems to stretch and squash, failing to keep a consistent positioning. See the video attached.
