Area around player reset after BSOD

My computer BSOD and when I got back online I was in the dirt with everything I've built and worked for gone except a few things far off to the side of my area. I was told to post here and maybe a kind Minecraft employee will have time to help? No expectations but I don't really know what I'm doing and am completely devastated that everything I worked for just evaporated.
