When I break blocks, they don't drop out as an item

When I entered my world in survival, I noticed that when a person breaks blocks, they don't drop out as an item. I could hit mobs, and items fell out of them. But when I broke the sugar cane on which the other one was standing, even the one on top didn't fall out. I re-entered both the world and the game, but nothing helped. There were no parameter sets. I created a copy of this world, and it was the same there. And in other worlds everything was fine.
