Global resources resetting with no error message every time game is opened on Switch and PS4

Me and my boyfriend have actually been encountering this bug since the first version of the wild update came out. I'm on a Nintendo switch, and he's on a PS4. When we start the game up, our global resources have been reset, but no error message or notification is displayed. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game has not helped either of us. This happens every time we start a game without fail.
