Minecraft seems to run on a very slow framerate in the menu when I load the game

I haven't had a problem for a while but recently it seems that when I load up Minecraft after a restart it works perfectly fine, but when I re-open Minecraft it seems to either forever run at a slow framerate or run at a slow framerate for a couple minutes (Both in the menu and in a world/server). It seems to always work fine after restarting my laptop but when I reload Minecraft it doesn't work fine. I have uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled it and that still didn't fix it. I actually lost my worlds and packs since I didn't realize it would remove my data as well. I was planning on resetting my laptop, but I figured it would be best to post a bug report first.
