Old gen can't play with new gen

Xbox one and windows edition can join each other and series can join each other but PC and Xbox one can not join Xbox series because it gives the error Outdated client but we have all restarted and redownloaded and this only started happening during todays update (Minecraft - 1.19.21 (Bedrock)) their are no updates \.
