Pointed dripstone and amethyst clusters can't be placed any way except pointed up using the setblock command

When I type in "/setblock ~~~ pointed_dripstone" or "/setblock ~~~ amethyst_cluster" then it will only place the block pointed upward. Even if I put a data value like "1" or "16" it always places it the same way.

To recreate just type /setblock ~~~ pointed_dripstone (or) amethyst_cluster
