ruined portals that spawn on hillsides in the snowy biome seem to be broken

If a portal is spawned in the snowy biomes the portal is incomplete. seed  -7205139552783622474  location -2220, 63, -2336 is missing about half of the portal and the treasure chest. I've seen this twice.
