Crashes/lag spikes when joining a server

When I join a world/server, I end up crashing. This has never happened to me before… And half the time I can play, I just get this sudden lag spike for a few seconds and then everything is fine for that duration I’m on it. My game never did that before. Also this happens to EVERY world/server I join.
