Sculk sensors can detect sound of pistons which are covered by wool

I covered a sticky piston will wool and connected it with observers . Then I placed a sculk sensor above the whole thing. As the piston and other redstone circuit is totally covered by wool sculk shouldn't detect anything. But it does. It's because the fast movement of piston hands is kinda broken.
