Bug with ALL game items when putting them on an Anvil, either to upgrade/add enchantments etc

The game gives me an error when I place an object on the anvil, if I try to give it a certain name the game automatically places it as "####" and I have tried several solutions and can't find any. The same thing happens with just repairing something, the name of the object changes to various symbols of "#####". no need to change the name
