When in chat on instant respawn players stay in a dead state

When I have instant respawn on in my worlds or other people worlds, if they are in chat and they die, they stay dead until they leave the chat. This is really annoying because in one world I have this system where it detects deaths and removes power levels when you die, and if they are in chat and they die their power keeps going down until they leave chat.

 

I cant show pictures because whenever I join a world it crashes too soon (that's another bug I reported)
