"cannot place blocks outside of the world" bug

When I'm using the /fill command and entering the coordinates it always gives me this error and I'm sure I can't be the only one who has had this bug occur and I'm just confused because wherever I tried to use the fill command it wasn't outside of the world it was on the inside of the world and I play on Xbox so Mojang could you try and fix this bug for the good of your game thank you kindly.
