Piston linked with redstone block creates glitched piston contraction

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place a Sticky Piston linked to a Redstone Block as shown in the video.
2. Connect them both together.

Observed Results:
The Piston starts glitching the Redstone Block.

Expected Results:
The Piston should only stick to the block.
