Waterlogged blocks having weird shades and rendering issues

Some waterlogged blocks can have weird rendering issues such as trapdoors, pressure plates and daylight sensor. Some others can create a weird light in the source blocks, such as slabs, beds, dripstone, etc. It seems like the weird rendering issue happens when theres a block nearby, but im not sure.
