command blocks won't save data

I just tried our world after the recent update and now I find annoyingly enough the command blocks don't work! they won't save anything I put into them. that's all I do in our world is make stuff work for others so this is a BIG problem! please fix this expediently so the command blocks will retain commands I enter into them.

btw the commands/command blocks already placed and functioning before the update still function but you can't change anything or add
