Equipping a horse immediately after taming it can crash the game

After befriending a Horse, if you try to put a saddle AND a Horse Armor on before the first dismount, the program will crash. This happened when trying to apply a diamond Horse Armor.

This happened repeatedly, and once it lost the horse and saddle.
