Iron Golems attack nearest player

When an iron golem is attacked by a player, it will attack the nearest player, rather than the player that attacked it. For example, my friend and I were on opposite sides of a  building, he was on the bottom floor, I was on the second, with the golems. I shot one with my bow, and they all targeted him since he was closer.
