Armor Stand takes over 2 minutes to "die" in Lava

Me and my friend accidentally put an armor stand in lava, and no matter how long we waited, the armor stand didn't get destroyed. I had the blinking red visual indicator that it was taking damage but still, it didn't die. Armor Stand Bug On YouTube

Steps to Reproduce

1. Dig a 1x1 hole
2. Fill hole with lava
3. Place armor stand in lava
4. Wait for armor stand to be destroyed

Observed Results
Takes about 2:20 for the armor stand to be destroyed

Expected Result
Since it is made of wood it should be destroyed somewhat faster.
