Can't craft a composter with a mix of mangrove slabs and other wood type slabs

Can't craft a composter with a mix of mangrove slabs and other wood type slabs (e.g, one mangrove slab with 6 jungle slabs, arranged in the shape of a composter won't craft a composted, whereas one oak slabs and 6 jungle slabs will)
