my friend lost all his stuff from a nether portal.

my friend got stuck in the loading screen from the nether to the overworld. He logged out and back in(he is not the owner of the server) and he died from fall damage and lost all his stuff, we looked everywhere to find his stuff and we couldn't.(he had netherite)
