"Require players to accept resource packs" doesnt stay checked on realm

I'm trying to check the box next to "require players to accept resource packs" so my friends can download the packs but it doesn't stay checked no matter what I do. I've tried closing the realm and doing it, I've restarted my computer, reinstalled minecraft and I even tried checking it on my Xbox but nothing has worked.
