When I destroy a block it takes several second for it to actually disapear

 When I destroy a block it takes several second for it to actually disapear. When placing blocks only around 1/2 of them actually place, the others don't. When I destroy a block then place a new block in that same place, it flickers back to the old block and then disapears.
