Sculk Catalyst spreads sculk when keepinventory is enabled

When dying near a sculk catalyst with keep inventory it shouldn't spread sculk since I didn't lose any xp but as shown in the video the Sculk Catalyst spreads sculk.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. /gamerule keepinventory true
2. /xp 50l @s
3. Place a sculk catalyst
4. Switch to Survival mode
5. Type /kill

Observed Results:
The sculk catalyst activates and spreads sculk.

Expected Results:
The sculk catalyst should activate, but it shouldn't spread sculk, just like in Java Edition.
