Water animation doesn't flow

When I place a bucket of water or when water is supposed to look like it is flowing it doesn't. The water still moves from the water source 8 blocks, but the water flowing animation doesn't happen. There is no good way to show this through pictures so if you just load up a world in Minecraft Bedrock and break a few blocks next to an ocean or river you will see the animation of flowing water doesn't work.
