Connection issues when trying to rejoin Realm

Essentially, I randomly get disconnected from my 3-player realm but once I try to rejoin, I am prompted with the following message. "Cannot join world. The account you are signed in to is currently playing in this world on a different device" but even as I reload my game it still shows that I'm in the game according to my friends, but I'll be frozen in game without being able to move. I'm guessing it's a bug with the realm itself since this never happens in my other realms except this one. It also shows that I'm online even after closing my realm.
