Hovering mouse over volume slider doubles CPS

Changing the volume of media on Windows 10 brings up a slider.  When you hover your cursor just below the slider and unpause, it has a weird effect of doubling your CPS.  This is obviously overpowered in pvp-based game modes on servers like The Hive and Galaxite, since CPS is a big factor in combat.  I've attached a video of the exploit in action; sorry for the poor quality!
